Exploding Box Card

This is a card I made for my new nephew oliver when he was born. I wanted to try something a little different to a normal standered newborn baby card. I think I should have embellished it more but I didn't have much time. My sister and her partner loved it.
So this is just an idea to try something a little different. Hope you all enjoy.

Hello Everyone

Hello crafters, its been such a long time since i have been on my blog and youtube account.
Iv had so much going on with children being ill, going on holiday and also returning back to work after maternity leave. So i have very little time to get much done and my craft area is beginning to grow dust :(
Iv even missed watching create and craft TV, i finally managed to have a sit down the other day an watch some c&c. Mel was on doing a show about 'The art of Zentangle', i really got into it and have tried my hand at it.
Its a craft i can do while on my break at work and while looking after my 3 young children.
I'm still having a play with it an looking online at different patterns.
I'm hoping to get back into blogging more and doing more videos so stay tuned.

I also want to say a big thank you to everyone that has been viewing my blog and youtube your support means so much to me.
Sending my love to you all.

Anniversary Card For My Nan and Pap.

This is a card i created for my nan and paps 53rd anniversary.
I mat and layered some blue pearlescent card onto a decorative A4 card folded in half.
I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment which i then cut out using an oval die, i left it in the die after i cut it out and inked it up using tumble glass distress ink.
Then using a creative expression stamp set i stamped the roses in black on some centura pearl card and then ran it through my grand calibur using the new spellbinders gold labels 4.
I then attached some ribbon and tied a bow. The ribbon was recycled from my sons birthday cake a few days before i made the card.
I then finished the card of with some gems at the top and bottem.

Valentine's Day Card Using Some Scraps

Just wanted to share a valentines day card i have just created using the rose stamp from creative expressions floral silhouette set.
I cut it out using a xcut label die then inked it with Jenni Bowlin (chili powder) while it was still in the die cut shape. I then removed the topper from the die and covered it with a versa mark ink pad and embossed it using some Debbi Moore print magic in rose colour.
The background was created using some scraps of paper. I went round the edges of the paper using the chizzle end of a promaker (poppy) to make them stand out.
I stuck the topper on the card using 3D foam pads. I also added a sentiment and some peel offs.
Hope you all like. Thanks for viewing my blog please follow xx
